It’s an extreme honor and pleasure too sees a dream and a few brief conversation turn into reality. A reality that’s impacting the youth of today for the challenges of life for tomorrow. To see this small group of members expand from a few dedicated member to a little over four dozen associate members. Serving as president of NewPennDel which is an Academic Support group is an extreme honor. Granted the opportunity to observe how these undergraduates matriculate through Elizabeth City State University which is a dedicated institution of higher learning developing the foundation and preparation for graduate school. NewPennDel was found in 2005 through hard work, perseverance, dedication and Viking Pride. The group was named by Taron Jordan a graduate of West Philadelphia High School. With the name NewPennDel chosen to represent the Tri-state area which represents New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. The group wanted a meaningful name which would reflect the student hometown as well as which would reflect us the students which would display our association with the Robert E. Harvey  Tri-State Alumni group at Elizabeth City State University. We shall hear when duty calls!
